Many businesses and people continue to thrive in the new economy while many people and businesses are floundering and experiencing overwhelming setbacks and simply surviving. How can Feng Shui be used to help both successful and struggling people perform better?
The answer is that we can use Feng Shui in our environment and when timing our decision making but our Feng Shui strategies will be made so much more effective by harnessing the power of our ‘Human Luck’ in conjunction with the Feng Shui cures and strategies.
The three treasures of Earth Luck (Feng Shui of environment), Heaven Luck (Horoscope & Fate) and Human Luck (attitude, education, social environment etc) show us that while our environment accounts for approx 33.3% of our overall luck, Feng Shui alone is sometimes not enough to weather difficult times. We need to know how to mentally and emotionally adjust to difficult times and understand how our fate is influencing us. Even one of the world’s most astute NLP and NAP consultants Anthony Robbins acknowledges that we need to know the right season to take action and that our positivity alone is sometimes not sufficient to be successful.
Where attention goes, energy flows….
By fretting about our situation, we simply create more tension in this area which could otherwise be used to take more positive actions. It is common sense that worry does not solve problems, but how addictive it can be to worry and become gloomy! How good are you at practicing detachment when things are difficult for you?
It is somewhat easier to practice detachment when everything is going your way (although even then we can sometimes worry that the good grace won’t last!) but when life seems too difficult, how do you respond?
Breathe…
“Where there is breath, there is hope”…
Call back your spirit and your zest as you breathe deeply into your belly and count your blessings. KNOW (not hope) that there is a part of you that is TOTALLY IMMUNE to your circumstances. Allow this part of your self-hood to expand and this will give you a better perspective. Create a symbol for your problem/s and visualise them as tiny and at your feet, with your self far larger and peaceful.
This can be applied equally to negative habits that you want to stop. Dissolve their power and hold over you. Create the space in your be-in-g for the lighter vibrations to enter – otherwise how can good luck find you if you keep closing the door through anxiety and worry?
Above the Centre Court at Wimbledon is written the quote by Rudyard Kipling:
“If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster,
And treat those two imposters just the same”
This attitude reminds us that we must not become attached to the good times (winning) nor the bad times (losing) but treat both as the same in a manner of neutrality. It doesn’t mean we can’t be passionate, but that we should understand the impermanence of life.
Dancing with Life
Most days have a mixture of enjoyable and less pleasant situations, thoughts and feelings and occurrences, so we are best advised to create enough intimacy with life to feel it is real enough, but not so real that it overwhelm us. “Be in the world, but not of it”.
Easy to be detached and mellow when you are on holiday and “away from it all”, but the true skill is keeping that attitude when you are back in the swing of life!
And of course follow your Feng Shui Consultant’s advice as well!
