Money and Feng Shui
Much emphasis these days is placed on using Feng Shui skill to increase the amount of money in the household or in an individual or business bank account. Particularly in light of the UK government budget many people are feeling fear around money and need help in optimising their property to make sure they have the best Feng Shui for wealth possible. My Feng Shui consultations do not promise miracles in this regard but do promise to strongly increase the likelihood of increasing money by unblocking or transforming the energies in the areas related to money in a property.
However, to receive full benefit from Feng Shui I always alert clients to the fact that money luck is not confined to hard currency alone. ‘Money’ is also a general term for ‘energy’ and can also present itself to you in the form of a very helpful person or colleague who assists you with their time and support. It can come to you in the form of fortunate blessings in other areas such as good health, lucky opportunity, spiritual guidance etc.
Treasure v. Money
Sometimes I experience being cut off from my intuitive knowledge and my energy is weakened or dispersed because of stress and I feel a great loss in my life as a result. I almost feel blind and a little lost. Happily, I know that nothing lasts forever and I restore balance to my life by reconnecting to meditation and chi kung, perhaps improving my diet or seeing valued friends so that my judgement improves and I feel whole again. Being in tune with my higher nature is treasure to me that is far more valuable than money alone. Many rich people still feel unhappy, insecure, unloved etc, so money does not necessarily solve your problems. It helps to smooth your path through life and allows you to be of greater service, experience greater pleasure, travel, education etc, but it is meaningless without happiness. If you are currently concerned about money then it is helpful to not only consider a Feng Shui consultation but also to look within and perform a little ‘inner feng shui’ – examine your beliefs about money that you learned from your parents. What are these beliefs saying to you? Make time for your inner treasures by way of meditation and wholesome relaxation where you STOP THE WORLD, experience timelessness and security within yourself that is totally independent of your bank balance!
Success Breeds Success
Watch where you are PAYING attention. Do you focus on the glass being half empty or half full? Its amazing how much mental energy we waste unnecessarily. If you take better care of your energy then the more energy you have the more money you can attract and/or manage. Conversely, the more money you have the more likely you are to feel energetic because your kidney energy is supported as you are less fearful about how to survive and you very likely have the support of others (whether paid domestic staff or paid employees or paid assistants etc).
Money Management
Aim to save at least 30% of your income and give away 10%. If this is not possible, then start with smaller percentages, but make sure you start saving, so that you can accumulate financial energy. This will in turn attract more energy to you.
Simple Self-help Feng Shui tips for improving finances:
- Clear any junk from the Southeast of your home or garden
- Make sure there is no stagnant or dirty water in the Southeast sections of your home, garden or office
- Make sure the frontage of your office or home is well-lit and presentable so that you attract the right opportunities
- Place 4 ‘lucky bamboo’ stems in the North area of office to stimulate career, thereby stimulating income
- Ensure the back of your property has a good fence or wall and repair any holes that could be leaking energy.
- Fix any dripping taps, faulty lavatory flushes, leaking ponds etc – ensure anything to do with water is working seamlessly as water represents wealth.
