With the news claiming a double dip recession, I thought this would be timely to help people make sure they are finding the most support possible in their environment. I also strongly believe that the ‘recession’ is made worse by the mass hypnosis by the media who love sensation and the politicians who seem to invest more energy in criticising each other and waiting for their mistakes than they do in properly and wisely governing the country. Use your Human Chi (33%) to think positively whatever the economic climate and use the Feng Shui (Earth Chi – 33%) to help support your highest desires. This is a fun article from the Independent given to me at the weekend by one of my London Feng Shui Practitioner course students Nikki Martin. Some simple yet telling Form influences in all of these properties…We very frequently refer to the Face of a house in Feng Shui analysis. A pinched face with no space for forehead above eyes (windows) will restrict the occupants for instance.  It is not uncommon for houses to look ‘sad’ or ‘happy’.

Here is another free Feng Shui video offering you some insights on how Feng Shui can be used to support your health.

Look for the map of directions and body parts/organs and see what quality of energy is in your home in that direction. If it is stagnant or cluttered then you need to get organised as it will improve the energy of that direction and according to ancient Chinese metaphysics in turn support the function of the body organ associated with that direction.

See this article in Time Magazine about how magnet therapy works – its nice to see allopathic doctors waking up to the very real benefits of advanced magnetic arrays. As part of my Feng Shui work I keep an eye on the physical environment of my clients homes or offices and occasionally recommend they use magnetic insoles, chair seat covers (great for driving in car or sitting at desk), magnetic mattresses and duvets – these all create healthy Earth energy for you to benefit from, because mostly the earth is concreted over so that lovely feeling you get when sat in a meadow in the summer, for example, is very much weakened. These technologies and products help to restore the magnetic balance in our bodies.   For those who know me, I maintain a very active work life, and use these products to create better balance in my life.

From Grand Designs magazine, take a look at this incredible home just outside of Tokyo…in Karuizawa, Japan. Designed by architect Kotaro Ide, it simply breathes an inherent harmony with its environment. It is a wonderful example of successfully combining organic curves with linear detailing and I just love the way the design of roof creates such beautifully tranquil views from the interior. Love it! 2011 Chinese Animal Forecast – Year of the Metal Rabbit

How the natural forces of the universe affect the energies of the year is a fascinating subject called forecasting and refers to our Heaven Luck. I prefer the term forecast rather than prediction as I consider it more accurate and it also creates more psychological space to harness our Human Luck in order to better weather the forecast whereas prediction somehow sounds too final. We are never meant to feel victimized by the forecasts as this creates self-fulfilling prophecies, however, if we are forewarned we are forearmed and can fine-tune our strategies. Read more →
