How the natural forces of the universe affect the energies of the year is a fascinating subject called forecasting and refers to our Heaven Luck. I prefer the term forecast rather than prediction as I consider it more accurate and it also creates more psychological space to harness our Human Luck in order to better weather the forecast whereas prediction somehow sounds too final. We are never meant to feel victimized by the forecasts as this creates self-fulfilling prophecies, however, if we are forewarned we are forearmed and can fine-tune our strategies.
Each person is born in a year within the 12 Celestial Animal Cycle and express some character traits and energetics of the particular animal. Of course, no one wants to be the Pig, Dog or Rat but prefer to be the Tiger or the Dragon! The full Chinese Horoscope is based on more complex formulae involving your Year, Month, Day and Hour of birth, however, the below represent a very general outlook for each Chinese Animal sign and are meant to help you weaken or avoid bad luck, and increase your alignment to the good luck. Please do understand that both your individual detailed horoscope and the Feng Shui of your home or office will greatly contribute to how you combine with the energies and if you want to engage at a deeper level then consider having your full horoscope ‘opened’ or a full professional Feng Shui consultation. This is great! It shows what is possible folks – am certainly very tempted to move to Asia where the Feng Shui consultants have it sooooo easy and can not only help people but also earn the big money with very invested clients! And look who is emerging as a world leader – China…! Feng Shui works, folks, it is not religion, not superstition – it is a science of energy and observation about how energy behaves and how it influences us – the West will catch up eventually no doubt…! Once they’ve stopped thinking with a Newtonian mind and caught on to quantum physics…

I love this time of year where we prepare for the year ahead by starting to reflect on what went well, what could have been improved and how best to align to the chi of the next year. As Feng Shui is not only about spatial influences but also timing and how the chi of an environment changes over time, it is important to have regular tune-ups so that you can ensure your home or business premises is welcoming the good chi cycle instead of blocking it.
Similarly, your Chinese horoscope will need fine-tuning each year over and above what is included in a horoscope report, which gives a flavour of the year ahead but doesn’t go into greater depth. With the news claiming a double dip recession, I thought this would be timely to help people make sure they are finding the most support possible in their environment. I also strongly believe that the ‘recession’ is made worse by the mass hypnosis by the media who love sensation and the politicians who seem to invest more energy in criticising each other and waiting for their mistakes than they do in properly and wisely governing the country. Use your Human Chi (33%) to think positively whatever the economic climate and use the Feng Shui (Earth Chi – 33%) to help support your highest desires.
