Hi all, I just completed a brief and lighthearted live chat with the presenters at Talk Sport radio who asked me to explain about what Feng Shui is and how it can be applied to city environments. I had hoped to tell them what I would do to help Michael Owen if he approached me (look at his horoscope, look at the Feng Shui of his home, advise on his travelling arrangements when playing fixtures etc) but I didn’t get a chance!
Anyhow, the original newspaper article that sparked the debate can be found here:

Feng Shui Agency School of Chue Feng Shui is delighted to announce
a 100% pass rate for the 2007 student intake who recently took their Practitioner Exam.
The Chief Examiner herself marked the papers and declared passes for all of the students who had studied under Sarah McAllister for the past two years. They are all excited about attending the graduation ceremony at the Chue Foundation AGM in Spain next year, where their certificates will be presented to them by Grand Master Chan Kun Wah.

Feng Shui is my first love and my full time occupation. However, during my investigations into the quality of people’s living and working environments, I have quite naturally noticed that sometimes people require not only Feng Shui help, but some technological help too. For instance, if you have a flat or house on a busy road, it is very likely that the air quality indoors and outdoors is going to be low. So, you need to address this and at the very least control your internal environment.
This Japanese company Nikken really address how to live healthily in the modern world. From air and water filters to fitness, nutrition and sleep systems, they offer great technology to help people stay healthy and balanced.
I’d like to invite you to learn more about this company by visiting my own Nikken / Feng Shui Agency website.
If you see something you like then you can immediately buy online by creating an account which will remember you upon a return visit, or you can explore the business opportunity presented by this worldwide debt-free organisation.

With all my various Feng Shui responsibilities – consulting, teaching, contributing to research, I find I don’t have an awful lot of time to devote to this, but I have a small team now who recognise the potential of such an enlightened business model and how it can work around them.
The traditional business models that most people are familiar with involve large set up costs, relentless advertising and marketing, stockpiling, accounting, battles with technology providers and website designers…the list goes on…
With this business you can start up with as little as £500 (or less) and if you find it isn’t what you want, then you either have £500 worth of really good wellness products that you either use yourself or sell to a friend. Very little risk. If you expect no risk whatsoever then you aren’t living life….for the universe to support you, you have to take a step in the first place….!
Anyhow, in contrast to many (but thankfully not all) small business owners working evenings and weekends for not an awful lot of return, dealing with accounts, stock, invoicing, returns, marketing etc, the Nikken distributor has the full support of the head office who do all the accounting, invoicing, stock control, refunds, website maintenance, updating the sales literature…etc. etc.
No man is an island – some sole traders find that the freedom they first sought out is soon replaced by a sense of isolation and business problems start to wear them down. This applies particularly to therapists who started a business doing what they love….I am sorry to say it, but starting a business needs more reason than “because I love it”….you need to understand the realities involved otherwise it will wear you down rapidly.
This business gives you the opportunity to control your own hours, work internationally, have all the admin taken care of….all you need to do is enjoy the products (most people do and receive enormous benefit), and talk to people about it….and I don’t mean turning into your neighbourhood nightmare going round knocking on doors and becoming an evangelist about it….I mean gently getting to know people, understanding what their needs are and only if appropriate do you drop in the conversation that you have these fabulous products that could help them, and quite possibly also the business opportunity.
Today, people are more open minded about “direct selling” and it is no longer structured like a pyramid. Think about it as a spider plant – the baby spider plants can outgrow the mother plant eventually. There are NO LIMITS. There are more than a few millionaires from this system. It takes some time and creativity and more than a few hours to reach this level of success, for sure, but if you are willing to give it a try, you have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
No Boss! You can still enjoy the freedom of having your own business, but you are not alone – your mentors will hold your hand and as I said before, you have all the marketing materials ready for you….no headaches over logos, design layout, finding a good graphic designer etc…You just pay as you go for the printed materials (most are free actually) and this represents stunningly low marketing costs and avoids the self-defeating false economy of DIY marketing sheets! All the Nikken sales literature is really nice and clean and snazzy! Something you would be proud to be associated with…plus it backs up this great image with great substance…
There, I have said my piece…Off to tennis now, with my Nikken magnetic insoles in my Babolat shoes of course….

We just had a really enjoyable Feng Shui Introduction Course in London and I awakened a lot of enthusiasm for Feng Shui and many students wanted to know about decent books to read either as follow on knowledge or as preparation for Module B Intermediate Level.
I warmly recommend Eva Wong and Derek Walters books. FOR MORE INFORMATION AND TO PURCHASE CLICK HERE
