Understand why you are attracting your current situation, why you are stuck in the same old patterns, why you are plateauing, and how to re-balance your core energy, to get flowing in the right direction again…
I found myself explaining these concepts to a lovely Feng Shui client of mine in London a few weeks ago, who I have closely supported since 2011. So, I felt that it would be useful for readers of my blog to hear as well.
Feng Shui is only for people who take responsibility for their lives.
It's definitely about empowering yourself, by attuning to good energy as much as possible, and minimising negative chi.
So you've spent thousands, if not tens, perhaps hundreds of thousands of pounds/dollars/euros on Success workshops with gurus and coaches from all over the world.
You've even travelled overseas to have epiphanies and then return home to face the same old same old, and wonder where you are going wrong.
Your self-development pot is waning and your credit card bill soaring. Yet you are still making the same errors, and before long you jack it all in after staying stuck for years.
It would seem that all you are doing in your search for success is helping the workshop leaders be successful... and wealthy...
How good are you at feeling truly alive, deeply connected and purposeful?
Like anyone, I have good days and not so aligned days... I have days when I feel purposeful and balanced and days when I feel out of sorts and have to undertake specific practices such as yoga or meditation to get back into that expanded state of relaxed focus and appreciation for life. Why do we change so much day to day, hour to hour sometimes?
A new year, a new start... what will 2016 bring? or more accurately, what will you make of 2016? I am not sure where it all began, when astrology sank into popular opinion as something disempowering, superstitious and foreboding... As anyone who has ever studied the subject in depth will tell you, its nothing like the popular myths and prejudices that abound.
See YOUR 2014 Chinese Animal Fortune Forecast below for the Year of the Wood Horse!
We are in for quite a year! The energy of the horse is dynamic and fast and will likely bring more travel and a quicker pace, whereas 2013 brought sensuality and reflection and hidden messages to the forefront the horse is wild and ready to run forward with dynamic action. Bring it on!
Upon my return from a month long holiday/rest in USA, I was pleased to receive a copy of the book "Kids that Dream Big" by Lashai (11 years old) and Tray-Sean Ben Salmi (7 years old), children of my remarkable friend Sabrina Ben Salmi. The young authors encourage children to imagine a greater future for themselves and I was asked for my expert tips on how to support children with Feng Shui. I very much enjoy assisting kids with Feng Shui for sleep, study or help with bullying - see my testimonials section - you'd be amazed how much my Feng Shui has helped a number of the little people in the families I help! :)
Here are the tips I provided in the book! I hope you find them useful and I can certainly help you with more bespoke and more advanced Feng Shui knowledge if you'd rather have an experienced expert help you :) Basic tips can sometimes help, but quite often a more skilled eye is required, so do get in touch. :)

I just came across this lovely science based website and was delighted to see a little article on the Chinese Spring Equinox perspective. Thanks to Deborah Byrd for the lovely suggestions on how to celebrate Spring.
I also like her post about the equinox as it...
Good to see some intelligent writing on Feng Shui - thanks to Freshome for their kind invitation for me to tell them all about Feng Shui Interior Design - would have loved to feature our newest project completed just before Christmas but the pro photos...
A very common comment I hear from my Feng Shui clients and students is that they are confused about their Chinese Zodiac animal and Lo Shu number because many systems incorrectly work with the "Chinese New Year" instead of the Winter Solstice. This can cause great confusion in people and almost an identity crisis!
