Chinese Horoscope Forecast Reading 2019 Year of the Earth Pig

Chinese Horoscope Forecast Reading 2019 Year of the Earth Pig

Are you ready for a little more fun in life?

Then welcome to the year of the Earth Pig!

According to ancient wisdom we entered the Earth Pig on 22nd December 2018 at the Winter Solstice. Other schools of thought consider the Chinese New Year (in ancient times known as the Spring Festival) to be in February or end of January, but I work with the age old systems which honour the powerful fundamentals of yin and yang. So, the day which is the first day after the longest night of Winter, is the energetic New Year.

The elements and the animals are METAPHORS for energy transformation phases.

Where seasons are noticeable, we clearly see the difference in qualities of winter, spring, summer and autumn and it is much the same with the cycle of each day. Feng Shui and Chinese horoscopes are after all, all to do with the balance and interaction of yin and yang and the 5 Elements (or Actions).

The Pig represents a part of energy cycle that is like the last of the evening laughs, before the stiller nature of the energy associated with the Rat (sleep, deep intuition, 2020)…The pig represents relaxed energy at the end of the day (or at the end of a cycle) before we step into a new cycle or a new ‘dreaming’….

After the transformative qualities of double earth in 2018, we now have the Earth Pig or Earth Boar, bringing some water element (Pig is fundamentally water element) along with yin Earth. The Pig enjoys life and often sees the funny side… but how does that influence a period of time?

If you thought last year passed quickly hold on to your hats this year – the best way to manage the fast energy is to do the opposite. Relax. And I mean deep, conscious relaxation – not vegging out in front of Netflix, but deep guided visualisations, yoga nidra, yin yoga, gentle chi kung or tai chi. Let receptivity be your mantra this year, not forcefulness.

Nothing in nature or life is 100% positive or perfect, and all energy has its opposite side. The energy of the Pig in its least flattering aspect is the glutton and spender who wastes energy for the sake of a quick thrill. Beware a tendency towards overindulgence this year whether in food, spending or sex.

This year is an 8 Earth year, which places the Black 2 sickness star in the Northeast of the Flying Star this year.

The 5 Yellow troublemaker star is in the Southwest which will affect the female energy especially sickness around the womb area.

Nothing in life is purely negative, and the same applies to the various portents we work with. The question is where will you place your focus? On what could go wrong or what could go right? Being forewarned is indeed forearmed and allows us to steer our consciousness more effectively. In truth many people are not yet even aware they can influence their lives, which is why ancient skills such as calendar and horoscope are still much misunderstood and can promote a passive victimhood rather than empowerment. When correctly understood we see that these influences are there to teach us about the rich tapestry of life and help us see beyond the limitations and confines of the ego into the deep breathing matrix of life itself. Astrology gives us no excuses, only perspective.

What does the energy of a Pig have to do with you? Sounds strange, right? The point is that the ancient Chinese cosmologists identified energetic characteristics of certain times and configurations of nature’s energy.  If you were born in the Year of the Snake, you might feel a little nervous right now, as you are in a spicy opposition with the ruling energy of the year the Pig. But if you are a Sheep or a Rabbit who naturally combines to the Pig energy, then you will be feeling quietly excited.

How the natural forces of the universe affect the energies of the year is a fascinating subject called forecasting and refers to our Heaven Luck. I prefer the term forecast rather than prediction as I consider it more accurate and it also creates more psychological space to harness our Human Luck in order to better weather the forecast whereas prediction somehow sounds too final. We are never meant to feel victimized by the forecasts as this creates self-fulfilling prophecies, however, if we are forewarned we are forearmed and can fine-tune our strategies.

I had the Chinese Horoscope done for myself and fiancee and it was truly remarkable. It was insightful, specific and very accurate. It pinpointed our personalities and indicated the best time for making big life decisions. Having been told by Harley Street experts that we could not have children, we followed the advice about timing and are now proud parents to two healthy children. Highly recommended!” Paula Clancy, W Hotel Group

Commenting on a Southern Hemisphere birthchart I analysed “I sensed you were someone who ‘knows their stuff’ – this chart is so much more me than the other I had done. Thank you”  R Hagenbuch, Sydney, Australia

Clearly, your individual chart will interact differently with the year and offer more bespoke detail and the feng shui of your home or office will have its own chi patterns. To get the best results from Chinese metaphysics it is always advisable to look not just at your space, but also your timing and your inner attitude and mindset as well.

How to work out your Chinese Animal sign?

For those of you born from in the months of January to November you take the year of your birth from the lists below, however, if you are born around the Winter Solstice i.e.. between 20 Dec to 31 Dec then you will belong to the following year for example, someone born on 26th December 2009 might think they are an Ox but in fact the energy of the year has renewed at Winter Solstice and now become the Tiger i.e.. 2010.  You do not work out from the Spring Festival dates in February as this is inaccurate.

Rat Chinese Horoscope 2016

Rat 1912, 1924, 1936, 1948, 1960, 1972, 1984, 1996, 2008, 2020, 2032, 2044

The Rat has some powerful lucky stars this year especially related to benevolent patriarchal power. The Rat can make a small fortune this year and depending on the type of Rat you are (Water, Wood, Fire, Earth or Metal) you can stand to make a huge fortune if given the correct advice. The Rat is also Water energy, like the Pig, so does enjoy the energy of this year much more than last year double earth. If the Rat can discipline themselves with focus early in the year then they will reap rewards from Summer Solstice onwards.

Ox Chinese Horoscope 2016Ox 1913, 1925, 1937, 1949, 1961, 1973, 1985, 1997, 2009, 2021, 2033, 2045

The Ox could feel a bit under the weather this year with the 2 Sickness Star in the NE where the Ox resides. And the Earthly Curse could see them face difficulties related to property and wealth. The Ox can make a Small Fortune this year if they can withstand the general malaise that they will feel – taking good nutritional supplements this year will help them stay fit. The Rat and Pig can be powerful allies for the Ox this year. Avoid hanging out too much with Rooster people this year.

Tiger Chinese Horoscope 2016Tiger 1914, 1926, 1938, 1950, 1962, 1974, 1986, 1998, 2010, 2022, 2034, 2046

The Tiger forms a harmonious energy with the Pig this year, so should enjoy a smoother year than 2018. Money making opportunities should come quite easily to them this year however a few negative stars will reduce this likelihood unless they have strong feng shui in their home and business and/or are in a good fate period of their Chinese horoscope. Good allies for the Tiger this year are those born in the year of the Pig.

Rabbit Chinese Horoscope 2016Rabbit 1915, 1927, 1939, 1951, 1963, 1975, 1987, 1999, 2011, 2023, 2036, 2047

The Rabbit should find their energy and confidence easier to access this year, and enjoy a smoother year due their harmonious relationship with the Pig. Good allies for the Rabbit will be the Sheep and the Pig. Your naturally shy character will be challenged this year to step forward to lead more and take the seat of power. Just go with it and stop worrying!

“I wanted to tell you how much of a difference your astrology reading of our compatibility and interaction made. It really helped me to see the dynamics at play when we were together at home and when we were outside in the world – really detailed and really insightful. It helped me to really relax and find acceptance. Thank you.”  Ingrid von Burg (Greene) Los Angeles, USA

Dragon Chinese Horoscope 2016Dragon 1916, 1928, 1940, 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000, 2012, 2024, 2036, 2048

The Dragon needs to take care this year around hook shaped items, like swings, ropes, trapeze, large garden umbrellas and literal hooks. There is an Earth curse too affecting the Dragon which will reduce your luck substantially. Don’t go windsurfing or hang-gliding or anything related to water and heights. A good ally for you this year would be the Rat.

Snake Chinese Horoscope 2016

Snake 1917, 1929, 1941, 1953, 1965, 1977, 1989, 2001, 2013, 2025, 2037, 2049

The Snake is against the ruling energy of the year The Pig, so could find it a tricky year with many surprise setbacks and disappointments. Depending on your full chart though you might be able to make this year truly transformative, as many people who are against the ‘Tai Soi’ find that the disruption allows them to deeply reassess what they are doing and where they are going in life. If you play your cards right you can make good money this year, or lose money if the negative energy gets a chance to affect you. Making sure you have the best feng shui in your home as possible, will help to reduce the energy of the T’ai Soi. And for some Snakes, wearing the charm of the Monkey might be helpful, but it is best to seek out a professional Ba Zi consultation for more tailored advice.

Horse Chinese Horoscope 2026Horse 1918, 1930, 1942, 1954,1966, 1978, 1990, 2002, 2014, 2026, 2038, 2050

The Horse benefits from The General star this year, so will enjoy authority and confidence. But with this renewed energy could come some anger if you don’t control your emotions. Getting enough physical exercise this year is very important for you. Career should be strong for you, though a personalised reading would help pinpoint more precisely how and when to go for that promotion.

Sheep/Goat 1919, 1931, 1943, 1955, 1967, 1979, 1991, 2003, 2015, 2027, 2039, 2051Goat Sheep Chinese Horoscope 2016

The Sheep could feel a little lost this year and lacking in purpose, as if they don’t know what to do in given situations. It would be wise to use this year to clear clutter, finish tasks you have been putting off for too long and to not embark on anything too ambitious. Or you can team up with someone born in the year of the Rabbit to be your ally and provide you with some direction. The 5 Yellow sickness star is in the SW as well which can make the Sheep feel a little under the weather.

Monkey Chinese Horoscope 2016Monkey 1920, 1932, 1944, 1956, 1968, 1980, 1992, 2004, 2016, 2028, 2040, 2052

The Monkey could find themselves losing a lot of energy this year as the Devil Star is affecting them. They will need to take care with regard to finances as there is money making ability but it could prove problematic due to the Sickness Star in the SW.  They will need to take care of their health and wellbeing this year and make sure their Feng Shui is as good as it can be at home and in their place of work.

It was very surprising what Sarah could assess about my private and career life! It helped me to gain unexpected insights and also provided some wise and practical advice for the next 5-10 years. Really good value for money.” S H, Ethical Fund Manager, Frankfurt

Rooster Chinese Horoscope 2016

Rooster 1921, 1933, 1945, 1957, 1969, 1981, 1993, 2005, 2017, 2029, 2041, 2053

The Rooster will likely find themselves travelling a lot more this year but will need to be careful about problems involving transport. So don’t take any unnecessary risks like driving too fast or being distracted at the wheel. There is a likelihood of Romance this year, so if you can stay centred and not take unnecessary risks, you should be able to have an enjoyable year.

I was amazed at how accurate Sarah’s Chinese Horoscope was for me, from key events in my past to my specific health problems and what practical measures I can take to support myself.” Sara Hannan,UK

Dog Chinese Horoscope 2016Dog 1922, 1934, 1946, 1958, 1970, 1982, 1994, 2006, 2018, 2030, 2042, 2054

The Dog is influenced this year by the Celestial Curse, so they need to keep a low profile and use the year for planning and consolidation. You could easily feel a little introverted and lonely this year and focus could lie too heavily on finances. Try to socialise even if you don’t feel like it, so that you can stay connected to your friends.

Pig Boar Chinese Horoscope 2016Pig 1923, 1935, 1947, 1959, 1971, 1983, 1995, 2007, 2019, 2031, 2043

The Pig is the ruler of the year in 2019 so will enjoy a natural authority and renewed zest for life, as long as they can handle the powerful energy of being in the Grand Duke position. Try not to make rash decisions based on over confidence and definitely don’t be tempted to over spend or over indulge this year. As the energy is very strong for you, you would be well advised to hire a good life coach to keep you on track, so that you don’t get too dispersed.

“Meeting Sarah has been both interesting and informative, I have had a Chinese horoscope and also a monthly one which I would recommend to everybody. I have started to use the information contained to put some water energy into my home which since doing this has helped the work flow in… I am also looking longer term to relocate to an area which suits my energy better and the horoscope gave me really useful guidelines on climate and directions that helped me narrow my search with confidence. I shall certainly be working with Sarah on my new home in Spain. Many thanks for you help so far and I look forward to working with you again in the near future.”
