Today is supposed to be one of the most depressing days of the year, known as Blue Monday. Based on a calculation of weather in Northern Hemisphere, debt levels & ability to pay off debts, time elapsed since New Year's Resolutions etc. - it is probably a bit of hype too, but there is an element of truth in it, as many people struggle with the New Year and also with Springtime, because they become anxious that nothing in their lives will change for the better.  Often the 3rd Monday in January, it is a time when the hype of the turn of the year has died down and IF you set resolutions, you might well have already abandoned them. You may even have a sneaking feeling of futility creeping in or even already suffered disappointments and setbacks early on in the year. Some new year, you might be thinking! History is saturated with myths and legends about heroes & heroines overcoming odds, miracles being performed and wizards & witches performing alchemical magic. From David and Goliath to the legend of Arthur & Merlin, and both the Pagan and Christian Easter traditions, humankind instinctively reaches for the seemingly miraculous. The scent associated with Autumn is pungent - Cajeput, Eucalyptus and Siberian Fir essential oils are all pungent and the eucalyptus can help keep the space free from germs at this crossover seasonal time.
Earth Day web The roots of my Feng Shui skill lie in observation and deep enjoyment of nature because the Five Elements on which Feng Shui techniques are based, are so very much alive in the natural world. So I am always happy to promote fantastic organisations such as Earth Day Network, which does great work to raise awareness of environmental issues and how to better reduce our impact on this beautiful sacred planet that keeps on giving and never asking for anything in return.
Money and Feng Shui Much emphasis these days is placed on using Feng Shui skill to increase the amount of money in the household or in an individual or business bank account. Particularly in light of the UK government budget many people are feeling fear around money and need help in optimising their property to make sure they have the best Feng Shui for wealth possible.

This is an interesting little article about celebrity chef Ching-He Huang and her positive experience with Chinese Astrology and Feng Shui.  I am completing a fair few horoscopes for my clients at the moment and it is quite telling how those I warned would have...
