Landscape & Orientation Strategy

Commissioned in collaboration with Hewitt Studios Architects, this ecological new-build project required spatial calibration on a steeply sloping site.

Early analysis focused on terracing strategy, water feature positioning and structural orientation relative to landform. Recommendations were provided prior to final architectural resolution to strengthen environmental coherence and site integration.

Outcome:

  • Improved relationship between built form and terrain
  • Enhanced environmental balance
  • Reduced downstream spatial adjustments

At this level, Feng Shui focuses on directional alignment and the balance of the Five Elements – water, wood, fire, earth and metal – within the space.
