Creating Eco Friendly New Builds with Feng Shui Wellness Design

Connecting to the power of place to help you have more energy

There is so much more to feng shui than aesthetics or common sense. I hear a lot of architects or landscapers tell me that they find feng shui makes sense to their minds, and it does in many ways, but it also goes a lot deeper and invariably when I show them my beautiful Chinese Lopan compass, they get a better idea of the complexity of my art and why it isn’t just curves and ‘feel good’ factor! I harness powerful forces to embed them into the built environment in very very specific locations, and also align those forces to auspicious timing by starting the design changes on certain days and times, or by installing certain items like landscape art or water features on certain times on a powerful day. It is not dissimilar to say, biodynamic farming, which honours the cycles of the moon to reap healthier, stronger crops. We do not have mastery over nature – we are part of nature, and so are our buildings.

A feng shui eco build is my favourite type of project because it is generally commissioned by people who are respectful of natural energies and want to design a home that is energy efficient in every way!

I have seen negative feng shui energies cause machinery to break down repeatedly. Negative feng shui depletes all types of energy – physical, emotional, spiritual. You might well even feel colder and need more heating on if you have a home with negative feng shui design. If you feel depressed and lifeless you will likely need more lights on to boost your mood. On the other hand when a home (or office etc.) is meticulously designed to work with nature and be ecologically sensitive, then it is simply a happier and more comfortable space to inhabit. It circulates energy better, and you sleep better and feel better, so are more likely not to need as much heat or light. The house will also have been designed to maximise natural light and reduce how much artificial light is required, to give a simple example.

Aligning the building to a powerful angle – one of the 64 I Ching hexagrams will create an exquisite and completely unique environment, as evidenced by my wonderful clients who hired me to help design a Kung Fu Weapons Hall and a Wellbeing Centre. Both these spaces, though very simple in their design, FEEL exquisite to be in and EVERYONE comments. Literally, every visitor remarks how good the spaces feel. 🙂 That project is one of my pride and joys! I look forward to portfolio photos when the time is right. There are some black ad white photos in my book “5D Wellbeing – How to Design Your Life and Home to Support Your Inner Luminosity”.
