Guide To Energetic and Spiritual Space Clearing

The rituals and benefits of the ancient art of space clearing

"You could cut the air with a knife"
If you have lived in or run your business from the same property for a number of years you may have got stuck in a rut and need a “spring clean” at an energetic level by commissioning a Space Clearing. We all know that atmospheres can build up within a space and create tension or listlessness. “You could have cut the air with a knife” describes the emotional tension that can be generated in a room at the time of a tense situation and even long after as the energy stays in the room.

Einstein said “Energy cannot be destroyed but it can be transmuted"

Transform Stuck energy into Vitality
We use specialist techniques to break up stuck energy patterns at a property so that the chi is transformed for you to receive a fresh flow of more positive chi to increase your happiness or business success.

A Space Clearing is a 'retuning' activity, and frequently results in a tangible improvement in the ease and flow of your life, work and environment, and an increased ability to move forwards with your plans and intentions.

Removing Predecessor Chi
A property can be like a museum storing memories and imprints of past events.
Perhaps you are in a property where previous businesses failed to succeed, or someone passed away recently, or suffered recurrent illness, or the previous occupants had a bitter divorce -- space clearing is just the tonic to clear stagnant, sick or sorrowful atmospheres and re-energise them bringing them more in positive harmony with you.

What does a Space Clearing involve?
It generally involves burning special herbs and resins in a focused and ceremonial way to cleanse and revitalise the energy, together with the use of soundwaves from consecrated bells and Bhutanese Singing Bowls to further purify the atmosphere.
We mostly work without the client being at the property and sometimes it is appropriate to invite the client to join us at the end for the invocation ceremony, where we co-create positive energy to attract better fortune into your life.

Decluttering
We will ask you to declutter and tidy up before having a space clearing as clutter not only blocks the effectiveness of the space clearing but can worsen a situation – it is inadvisable to activate a chronically cluttered space with either Space Clearing or Feng Shui cures, because you will be activating a state of negative chaos.

Space Clearings are conducted by Sarah and/or one of our highly qualified specialists and fees include materials and any relevant follow-up advice. We also dowse for the existence of geopathic stress lines and conduct earth acupuncture or recommend the installation of protective devices such as the excellent Raditech/Geomack

Space Clearing consultations - Your responsibility
• Ensure smoke alarms and sprinkler systems are temporarily disabled
• Ensure all food is either covered or placed in the refrigerator or cupboards and not left lying around the kitchen or office.
• Please ensure the space is free of chronic clutter (or in the case where clutter is a symptom of negative feng shui and you find it overwhelming we will help you accordingly) You will find that the space clearing will release the hold on the clutter and you will be able to move it out immediately – make time in your calendar to take this step or the clutter could be activated by the space clearing and induce negative effects.
• Provide at least 7 small side plates for us to place our tealights on.
• Hold a clear and positive, benevolent intent for what you would like to ‘dream in’ to your life once the bioenergetic blockages are removed.
• Follow your consultant’s advice post space clearing.

Avoid Do It Yourself (DIY) Energy cleansing
Whilst many safe and common sense space ‘refreshing’ techniques like clutter clearing and spring cleaning and burning incense/sage/frankincense can easily be carried out yourself in a DIY capacity, we strongly warn against trying to work at a spiritual level or with geopathic stress lines as this requires specialised training.

Prices for Space Clearings depend on the size of the property. Please contact us to discuss further.

Space Clearing Testimonials

“Thank you so much for coming round and performing the space clearing – I immediately felt the benefits and that room no longer feels uncomfortable. The whole atmosphere has lightened considerably – I am really impressed at the positive effect!” S Radhe, London Feng Shui client

“All the staff commented on how much lighter the place feels – the upstairs feels transformed and they are no longer afraid to go up there at night alone. Whatever you did, it worked, thank you.” B Meredith, owner The Bull, Highgate, London business feng shui client

After the space clearing and feng shui consultation, Sarah gave me a written report on the house, including a short list of things I could change straight away, mainly moving desks and beds. We've done most of them and already the atmosphere is much calmer. The biggest difference, though, has been with my son, who had been having trouble sleeping and, like a lot of teenagers, was quite disruptive at home. Sarah found his bed was in the worst possible place for him. Unbelievably, from the very day we changed it he slept better. Sarah then arranged a space clearing for the house and in particular for his room. Even my partner, the biggest sceptic you could come across (who in fact thought I was utterly mad to even think about feng shui) feels this has made a difference not just in how well my son sleeps, but in his general humour and confidence. He also concedes that in some indefinable way, the entire house has a warmer, more tranquil atmosphere, which is definitely what we were aiming for.

PS Sarah - difference in Stevie has been quite remarkable actually. He has not had one nocturnal wandering since the bed move and since the space clearing as well is much calmer, more focused at school and so much nicer to have around. He commented the other day how much he likes being in his room now. Next thing to do is change Katie’s room . . . “ [names have been changed to protect this North London feng shui client]
